Malcolm Culleton

Malcolm Culleton is a songwriter, organizer, amateur cartographer, collector of weird old records, history buff, and railroad enthusiast. Steeped in traditional folk music, his songs tell stories about people and places--with an awareness of historical forces and the passage of time.

In addition to his original songs, Malcolm is a prolific interpreter of traditional and historic music, with particular interests in protest music, ballads, and drinking songs. He can often be found leading rollicking sing-a-longs in his West Philadelphia apartment.

Malcolm's first album, Road Songs, was released in the summer of 2014. His second, Notes from the Field is forthcoming in the spring of 2018.
